Depending on the project, a new floor installation can either be a fairly straight forward project or it can be an extensive one – it all depends on the conditions of the existing floor, any project specific details, such as staircases, transitions or custom work, and the overall size of the project. In the case of this private residence in Tsawwassen, BC, the project required major restorative leveling prior to the installation of their new engineered hardwood floors.
Card Construction, Ltd. was hired to renovate the kitchen and living spaces in the small home. The Eco Floor Store supplied and installed all of the new flooring for the new open space. The project details included leveling 1,400 square feet of existing floors, installing a custom-made 15′ nosing and step to the sunken living room, and installing the engineered hardwood floors.
We installed Coswick engineered hardwood floors in “Mocca” from the Classic Ash Collection. The floors are finished with Coswick’s Silk Oil, which features 4 layers of deep penetrating, highly durable UV-cured modified organic oil-acrylates. It’s a beautiful floor with a smooth finish that is easy to maintain.
