The Hotei by Platinum Marine

The Hotei (seen above) is a luxurious 115 foot crescent yacht that recently underwent a jaw-dropping renovation. The interior design team – Good Space Design Group – came to us looking for an eco-friendly flooring solution that would be durable and easy to maintain.

We recommended Dinoflex rubber floors. Made entirely from recycled tires, Dinoflex is an excellent flooring material for a wide range of applications, including luxury yachts.

We installed the new eco-friendly flooring throughout the crew quarters and in various other areas, such as the mechanical room, bathroom and utility room. Custom installation details, like cut-outs for the access hatches and black rubber nosing for the staircase, completed this unique project.

Our second yacht project is a new custom build designed by Dixie at D. Hudson Design. Dixie was in search of an opulent yet eco-friendly surface for use throughout the yacht.

We recommended ForzaStone® panels. ForzaStone panels are extremely lightweight, highly durable and amazingly versatile. Over 800 square feet of the large-scale panels were installed throughout the yacht in bathrooms, shower stalls, ceilings, floors, counters and back splashes. Wow!

Natura Wall Tiles
Made from Invasive Water Hyacinths

In the Philippines, the water hyacinth is an invasive plant that is clogging lakes and causing significant environmental damage. As a result, the plants are regularly harvested and used in a number of different products, from green charcoal to beautiful wall tiles.

Natura wall tiles are our newest addition to our eco-friendly family of wall coverings. Made from sustainably harvested water hyacinths, the 12″ x 24″ tiles are available in four soft tones in two different thicknesses.
