The Eco Floor Store is under NEW ownership!

Clayton Mickey took over ownership of The Eco Floor Store from Jared Kress in November 2018 with the intention to build on the foundation of offering high-quality environmentally-friendly products and delivering an exceptional customer service experience.

While Clayton is a newcomer to the flooring and wall surface industry, he has spent the last ten years working in owner-operator environments where he has found success in being transparent and honest when working directly with his clients.  His philosophy when it comes to operating The Eco Floor Store is to focus on a superior product offering, while personally working with each client to ensure they have the best possible experience throughout the entire process.

“My clientele is knowledgable and informed when it comes to sustainable manufacturing and the effects of living with chemical off-gassing,” says Clayton.  “My goal is to find products that are going to have a positive environmental story behind them and to provide my customers with one less thing to worry about when it comes to what they and their families are breathing in on a daily basis”.

Clayton and Ashley married in September 2017 and they have settled locally in Brookswood with their King Charles, Toby.  He has a strong entrepreneurial background and currently operates a secondary business within the Lower Mainland.  Ashley is a full-time photographer and whenever she is available, she is involved with the family business by meeting with clients and commercial designers.
